Fuselage Assembly

The fuselage is fabricated horizontally split.  Here the lower fuselage has been placed in the saddles attached to saw horses.

The horizontal box is called the spar carry through.  The wing spars are inserted into the carry through, it is the primary structure to support the wings.

The aft bulkhead has been installed.

The rear seat rails have been installed as well the the shear tie, which will help support the attachment of the wings.

The nose gear support has been installed.  It also supports the rudder torque tubes as well as the firewall.

The front seat rails have been installed, as well as the control stick and associated torque tube.

A cable channel has been installed down the centerline of the lower fuselage.
